High Profile Bliss: Darren Criss + Mia Swier x My House Social
We ended 2018 reminding everyone that we weren’t stopping with the huge partnerships in 2019, and we were absolutely thrilled to work on Darren Criss’ and Mia Swier’s rockin’ weekend revelry here in New Orleans! The star-studded wedding required only the best of the best, so we brought on Saba, Sylvain, Café du Monde, Salt and Light Pastry Co., and Cru Raw and Bubble Bar. Get to know them below:
Saba
Meaning Grandfather in Hebrew, Saba is a relatively new restaurant in New Orleans from celebrated Chef Alon Shaya. With influences that stem from the Middle East, Europe and North Africa, Saba reflects a collection of moments where food and culture have crossed paths, offering a taste of this ever-evolving cuisine. Saba calls upon Chef Shaya’s heritage and being a celebrity chef himself, we selected him to bring his otherworldly fare to wow guests with something a little different from the expected.
Sylvain
Sylvain takes its name from the first opera to take place in New Orleans and their space blends the line between restaurant and bar. Set in a carriage house built in the late 1700s, honors the French Quarter neighborhood’s history while infusing an energy that reflects where New Orleans is headed. They offer elevated Southern bistro classics that we knew guests would love. Our clients wanted to ensure New Orleans would be well represented, and we knew Sylvain would not disappoint.
Café du Monde
Cafe du Monde is a historic landmark in New Orleans, established in 1862 serving beignets and coffee 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Despite it’s historical legacy, Café du Monde remains a beloved element of sweetness and excitement for everyone.
Salt and Light Pastry Co.
We’ve mentioned Chef Ruby Bloch before, and we decided she was the perfect fit for our clients on this fun, quirky wedding. Inspired by a love of art and food, S&L prides itself on working with each client to craft unique, beautiful, and flavorful treats for events of all sizes. She’s a fan favorite for our wedding clients, but she delivers extraordinary desserts that are worth every bite.
Cru Raw and Bubble Bar
We’ve also mentioned Chef Marlon before, and having been a chef to celebrities like Lady Gaga, we knew he could deliver passed appetizers and small bites galore for celebrity guests to enjoy. Cru and Chef Marlon are new to the New Orleans food scene but have the ability to showcase a range of cuisines to suit any menu!
