A Taste of Tales
We were invited by William Grant and Sons and Momentum Advertising to feed their audience at the inaugural sober Tales of the Cocktail event with a number of their liquor clients serving up mocktails in a space inspired by Tom Cruise's 1988 Romantic Drama Cocktail. The idea sounded so wild and fun, we quickly accepted the offer. Here's the run down of the great food we brought to the party at our venue partner Mardi Gras World!
Congreso Cubano
Congreso Cubano really brought the tropical cuisine with a refreshing twist. Instead of bringing in hot foods, Congreso Cubano created a colorful array of salads. Amongst their menu items were watermelon salad, papaya colada salad, and even a nice ceviche. It was the perfect addition to the hot weekend night party hopping between Tales of the Cocktail parties.

Afrodisiac
Afrodisiac is owned by two of the sweetest independent chefs we know. Shaka and Caron cheerily served up veggie, chicken, and shrimp skewers from the grill to serve to guests on beautiful tropical leaves. Afrodisiac has a passion for serving their community and audiences jamaican creole fusion, and it shows in all the great things they do for us at our events!

Mangé Catering by Chef Marlon Alexander
Chef Marlon Alexander is one of our shining star chefs in presentation and performance. When asked to make food for the event he managed to make stellar presentations of rock buns, tea sandwiches, hot sausage rolls, and trifles for his food station. Every item looked like it came straight out of a dream, especially the rock buns.

Food Drunk
You're probably wondering where all the pub food is, and you're right, what would a liquor-less liquor sponsored party be without bar food?? So we brought in Food Drunk to bring in the classics: fries. burgers, and a notorious Drunken Pig Cone (15-hour smoked pig, bourbon maple bbq, serrano habanero, and slaw in a waffle cone)
