The Fresh Faces at Whitney White Linen Night
Any New Orleans native, new or seasoned, is well acquainted with the warm August night that graces us every year – Whitney White Linen Night. White Linen Night has become the beloved semi-end of summer event bursting with celebratory love and good vibes for the arts, food, and music culture that keeps this city so wonderful. You may have noticed a few new faces serving food this year and we're here to introduce you to some of them.
1. Anne Lloyd
Chef Anne has had an amazing career in the restaurant business for over thirty years, 25 of which have been in New Orleans. She has managed some of New Orleans' most popular kitchens, including the Bluebird Cafe, Gabrielle, and Lola's Restaurant. She's also worked with many well-known chefs and restaurateurs, such as Susan Spicer of New Orleans and Arnold Wong of San Francisco.

2. Peter Nguyen
Chef Peter Nguyen's family has run a number of cafes prior to Hurricane Katrina, but Chef Peter's iteration effortlessly balances his heritage, his southern upbringing, and his youthful spirit for a Southern Vietnamese fusion concept that's caught the eyes of GQ, No Passport Required, and Hoodline. More than anything his approach to the traditional banh mi consistently wins the hearts of locals and tourists alike.

3. Marlon Alexander
Chef Marlon Alexander is no foreign entity in the My House Social, but he's fresh to the White Linen Night crowd. Having spent time under Chef Wolfgang Puck and becoming known in the celebrity chef world, it's no wonder that Chef Marlon is an expert in presentation and flavor.
