My House Events In Solidarity
To the My House Events Community,
We are in solidarity with the nationwide calls for justice. We stand with our black community: the chefs we work with, venues, non-profit partners, clients, and event professionals.
Racial justice is integral to the hospitality industry. My House Events is a company that has always had the mission to work with black chefs, woman chefs, and chefs of color to bring additional revenue opportunities through private events. We will continue to do this and more to support black-owned businesses.
New Orleans has a long way to go to create a more inclusive space for black chefs, women chefs, and chefs of color, we want to be part of this solution.
Money matters and we will keep working to redistribute money and amplify the voices of marginalized communities. We will also keep pushing to do better, always.
For every one of our white peers in the hospitality industry - it is our duty to understand, listen, and learn about the racial injustice across our industry.
